This is simple blog where I will talk about things I’m interested in, document stuff Ive learned (mainly so i don’t forget!) and write about things that confuse the hell out of me! (so hopefully someone will help!).
Lazarus Graveyard
Ill be wittering away about all sorts of stuff but the main focus is likely to be on my learning about web design and using it as an opportunity to learn and evaluate Wordpress as a Content Management System.
In my youth I was a seriously good illustrator but my teacher always said it was a discipline not a gift and the rule of ‘use it or lose it’ definitely applies. I have now lost much of the ability but I dabble from time to time so expect their to be some content about art/comics/digital art and maybe some portfolio galleries cropping up at some point in the future.
I also make horrible home recordings in my spare time. Ive always wanted to play the guitar like Richie Blackmoore or Jimi Hendrix – unfortunately I can barely play at all but I have never let that deter me from setting up a home studio and having a go = spirit of punk! I have two Myspace pages where you can hear my tunes -
The Mcray Babies
Lazarus Graveyard which is where I put my Gothy stuff and The Mcray Babies which is where I put happier tunes more in the stoner rock/psychedelic vein.
I was played on BBC Introducing with Tom Robinson which is a cool show on BBC 6 music. It was early days for the show I doubt id make it past quality control now 
– But they played an abridged version of my track “Silbury Hill” which is one of the best things I ever recorded and the solo at the end was definitely the best solo Ive ever done in one take – you can hear the track over on the Lazarus Graveyard Myspace page. Ive lost the source files unfortunately so I cant remix it which I would love to do as it was recorded a long time ago when I had cheap equipment and knew less about mixing levels and frequency overlaps – ah well! Anyway – so yeh expect some content about music to be cropping up as well.
